Chris Arpin and Simon Murray have over 50 years experience between them, in both Hard Surface Spraying and Custom Painting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry leaders, as you work along side them in a spray booth/workshop environment.
On this “hands on” class, each student will complete several projects under the instructors watchful eyes.
Your instructors will be demo-ing live, throughout the 3 days, as well as talks on everything from, studio set up, to, painting for profit. By the end of the course each student will have an in depth knowledge of how to take a project from preparation to final clear.

Simon Murray - SM Designs
Simon Murray celebrating 30 years in the airbrush industry this year. He started his Airbrushing business, based in Northern Ireland, in February 1992. At that time, he was mainly providing an airbrushing service on crash helmets, gas tanks and motorbikes, however, over the years he expanded the business to include the production of Airbrush & Custom Painting DVDS, design of his own line of stencils and, also running Airbrush Classes. He has taught classes, from his own, purpose built, teaching facility in Northern Ireland, and, also, across Europe and in the USA.
Simon has worked closely with Createx Colors for over 20 years, using their paints in his artwork and with his students, but also working at an R&D level on new products, as well as, producing many Youtube “How to’s”.
Chris Arpin - Createx Colors
Chris Arpin has been working in the Automotive Refinishing Industry for over 22 years. His career started in the refinishing industry in 2000 as a prepper. He worked his way up through the various shop skills, doing frame straightening, body work and paint prep, with a culmination into shop sprayer.
For the last 12 years he has been spraying water based paint. Certified in Glasurit and PPG, both solvent and waterborne refinishing systems, his last position before joining Createx was with Automobile Associates, specializing in Porsche restoration. During his time there they were awarded the Manhattan Trophy 3 times, and many Concours events around the country, including Pebble Beach and Amelia Island.
